Making Mondays Mine

Hi, I’m Erin.

I work in marketing, teach at a university, and spend most of my days moving between Korean and English. Along the way I became fascinated by the small things, the subtle signals that shape how we communicate and understand one another.

Over time, I started paying the same kind of attention to my own life. The conversations that stayed with me. The things I kept saying yes to. The routines that would shape my weeks.

Like many people, I used to think of Monday as something to get through. Then I started treating it differently. Instead of reacting to whatever the week threw at me, Monday became a chance to pause, look ahead, and decide where I wanted to spend my energy.

That’s how I Make My Mondays began.

Now Monday is my reminder to slow down and begin the week with intention.

This is where I share notes, stories, and observations about culture, language, creativity, and the small decisions that shape our lives.

Maybe this space will make you pause, smile, or see your own Monday a little differently.

Monday, here we go.
